Which setting for Wi Fi is more secure public or private?

    usually private wifi is more secure then public.it is not easy  to other to access.

    A public Wi-Fi network is inherently less secure than your personal, private one, because you don't know who set it up, or who else is connecting to it. Ideally, you wouldn't ever have to use it; better to use your smartphone as a hotspot instead.

    Private will be a bit more secure as the WiFi will not advertise its presence, but security is really obtained by using an SSID and password which are different from the default and do not advertise the make of router, nor your name.
