Hair dye normally doesn't make you hair fall out as long as you don't have an allergy to it. But if she constantly uses "permanent" hair dye that might be the problem! to re-dye her hair roots she should use semi-permanent hair dye with less harsh chemicals.

However maybe the problem isn't as severe as you might think! The dye might make the hairs that fall out more noticeable and some hair loss is normal.

To test out if she's losing too much hair than what's a normal amount take a chunk of her hair (about 100 hairs) and rub your fingers through it. If around 5 to 8 hairs come it she's fine! thats just hairs that get pushed out naturally.

If it's around 15 to 20 it's a bit more worrying, you might want to go to a professional.

It could be hormonal or in fact the hair dye.

    hope this helps!
