What is one assumption regarding human nature that influences one's personal economic ideology?

    Empathy OR indolent for socialism. 

    Selfish OR hard working for capitalism. 

    Logical if you're in between, not too far to the right where you can't see the practical uses of government, but not too far to the left where you don't understand accountability and the adverse effects of taxation on productivity. 

  • Empathy is essential in order to be a socialist; capitalists are sociopaths.
