Since mars surface gravity  is 38 % of earths, Would i be able to lift more weight or would my muscle strength be reduced to 38% as well?

    The weight you could lift would remain unchanged. What WOULD change is the mass that you could in theory lift.

    1.00/.38 is approx 2.5

    So you could lift 2.5 times the mass that you could on earth.

    Weight=Mass* Acceleration due to gravity

    Since you are accustomed to working on Earth, your strength would be the same as it is now, only things on Mars would be lighter.  But after living there awhile, say 6 months or a year, your muscles would weaken, just like happens to astronauts on the space station, and you would have 38% less strength than you do now.
