Are humans violent because "The sin that runs in our veins for Adam and Eve" or because evolution and our primal instinct?

It's the society you were born in and the early life experiences that shaped you - don't generalize individual failures.....we can either all accept personal responsibility or we can rub ourselves out of existence.

Our closest living relative is the chimp. We share many similarities with chimps. For example, we are social just like chimps. Male chimps will bond with each other in defense of their own troops and they will kill males from neighboring troops. We are similar. Modern humans who enlist in the army bond with each other and they will risk their lives in defense of each other on the battle field. They will join together and kill their enemies. Male chimps cooperate with one another to hunt monkeys for meat. Humans who still live as hunter gatherers do the same, whether they are Eskimos hunting whales, or whether they are Africans hunting antelopes, or if they are native Americans hunting bison.

The greatest source of violence in society comes from religious fanatics, brainwashed by dictatorial leaders into believing that theirs is the only true religion (there are dozens of "the only true religions" around), and it is their duty to wipe out the others by any means at their disposal.  Tolerance and compassion do not come into their equation.  Evolution has nothing to do with it.
