what kind of occupations do people have that live in "affluent neighorhoods"? how do they make so much money?

talking about the 1 percent of a region..like you will see huge homes and them driving 100,000 dollar vehicles

Most of the 1%  had rich parents. Very few of them had to work for even one dime!!!!

They got help. Like the people that "travel the world" in their 20s without a steady job. I DONT believe their lies for a second. They got money saved up somewhere, an inheritance of some kind. Airline tickets cost hundreds of dollars. You can't  backpack around the world unless you have some serious money.

Honestly? Just about any occupation you find upward mobility and/or success in.

Around here most of them seem to be lawyers, bankers or connected to the oil industry,,,, some inherited trust fund brats,, a few professional athletes,,
