Aren't Americans ashamed they don't have their own language?

Must suck for them to have to borrow from Europe

No, they just fool themselves into believing that they and/or English are somehow superior

What sucks is it took Americans to make it the most popular language. They borrowed it then do more with it!

Actually we are quite proud to be one in a family of English speaking nations.  As a group English speaking nations are the richest most educated nations in the world.  Check out this list of English speaking nations:

    Antigua and Barbuda

    The Bahamas

    New Zealand

    St Kitts and Nevis

    St Lucia

    St Vincent and the Grenadines

    Trinidad and Tobago

    United Kingdom

    United States of America

Most of these are above the World Average for GDP per capita.  Only some of the island nations are below the World Average.

Think back tens of thousands of years. There was a time where there were only two people. We all share a common ancestry so the shame you share is also your own.

Not in the least. What for? Aren't Western Europeans ashamed they still have to rely on America to protect them from Russia?

    Why should be ashamed?

  • You know we're actually too distracted by the shame of our president to pay much attention to anything else at the moment.
