How much would I have to spend to make my 1995 V6 Mustang into a V8. ?

Please give details I was thinking putting a LS engine because they are cheaper.

The engine is not the problem.

The computer and the wiring are the main problems.

Why not sell yours and buy a GT? Then you won't have to deal with all the work and money it will cost to swap to an LS

Not worth it, getting all the computer controls to work would be a headache.

A 302 Windsor will be easier, simply because the 302 and the 3.8L share motor mount locations and have the same bellhousing so your stock transmission will bolt right up.  With that said an LS swap will get you considerably more power and will weigh less (if you get an aluminum block).  However you'll need to change out just about everything and either change the transmission or get an adapter. So you'll be spending more money with an LS swap vs. 302 swap.

So, who is going to fab up engine, transmission, accessory mounts for your LS?  Who is going to make your driveshaft?  Who is going to hack the electrical system?  Who is going to make your custom exhaust?

Why not buy a wrecked v8 'stang and swap over the parts?
