Wtf is the point of faith? If God was really why wouldn’t he just stop by to say “hello, I’m real”?
Seriously, for a moment let’s pretend God is real, what purposes would it serve to keep us guessing as to whether or not a god exists and if so, which one is legit. It serves zero purpose other than the obvious reason that faith exists to cover up religions false claims. But if God we’re real there would be no reason to play pick-a-boo. He would communicate with us directly.
Lol... what dictionary says faith means to believe in the facts? And wtf does moving out of your home and living on your own without the help of your parents have anything to do with what I just said? Why would people stop working if they knew God was real? Seriously... wtf. And faith isn’t a test. Faith would be like being forced to fill out the answers on a test without knowing what the questions are.
Actually every word in the Bible had a meaning long before the word was used in Biblical scripture. So yeah words in the Bible should be used according to their meaning outside of a biblical context. Obviously there are semantics involved in language but faith has never been defined as knowing the fact, EVER.

Actually; God did make an appearance to the earth over, 2 thousand years ago, in the form of Jesus Christ and the human race murdered Him. Jesus is / was half-man and half God. Many historians like, Roman historian Tacitus and Jewish historian Josephus, to name a couple, tell of this Christ, who did miracles, raised the dead, preached repentance [turning away from human sin] and following Him. He was arrested, beaten half to death, humiliated and sentenced to death by crucifixion by the Roman authorities. "Faith" is plainly, trust in a unseen outcome. This kind of faith comes from Jesus Christ, from a spiritual relationship with Him. "Faith" is a product from the Holy Spirit therefore, on a physical or material plane, defies all humanistic logic since it is spiritual - not factual in a scientific sense. Believers know that by their [Jesus'] faith , that God is real in his or her spiritual relationship with Him [God].
However; the day will come when Jesus will return to the earth and create or restore order, peace, abundance, no more wars, no more death [dying] and all humans, who never had their chance or opportunity for salvation in their human life (those who died before Christ appeared the first time as a humble carpenter too) will be offered a chance to accept God's offer of grace through Jesus Christ.
God is a God of love, grace and takes responsibility for the entire mess the earth and its people are in. God will correct it all in His time.

1. Faith is mostly a willingness to find out for ourselves. That is always useful.
2. Not if he wanted us to get to know him through the exercise of our spiritual faculties and senses.

Ephesians explains faith better, its a gift not of your own doing, but from God directly, so if God is sharing faith as a gift as an eternal offering, it makes zero sense to do anything other than utilize the gift you've been given freely, this is a world of false perceptions, you have the gift to perceive what is true, but your dualistic mind hasn't allowed you to choose correctly..... I have to wonder about the Universe Hologram Theory, the ultimate virtual reality experience, I don't believe the Avatar theory is too far off the mark..... Jesus says in Luke 17:21 The kingdom of God comes not by observation, for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

I always find it amusing when people conclude they are smarter than God.
What if God did make Himself known? You would then believe He exists, but then what? What would you do? Behave? Through what mechanism, fear or love?
You would "comply" out of fear of reprisal and punishment. That is not what God seeks. Hence, the process extant, which you are presently unable to comprehend.

He does! Why do you think hundreds of millions of intelligent people have absolute faith in God to the point they would rather die than deny Him? You think a person could do that if they had not actually met God, and didn't know Him? Could they possible have such faith if they had not actually met Him, if they didn't personally know Him?

Malachi said that no one can bare His presence except they are super Christians .

He DID, and you, in total ignoramce of truth have given up your place in life and sought to kill HIM, for pointing out your sin..

You are living in a miraculous era of God. The people who have born in this era cannot realize this miracle because they have born with it. I am a living evidence for the existence of God, if you know me, you will understand.

God tests every man for faith in his word....
Hebrews 11:6 KJV — For without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

For the same reason your father at a certain age stops giving you pocket money. He wants you to grow up and learn to earn your living alone. With him by your side at all times you'll never grow.
If God was a given to all people and all people knew for sure he exists, nobody would want to work or grow.
