Is there an internet router with a port for this kind of network cable?

Yes, there's a type of router that works with that cable (if the other end of that cable plugs into your home phone line jack). It's called a DSL router. If you're in the US, you'd contact an ISP like AT&T and they'd ship you a DSL router. (Home routers have many names: DSL modem, DSL router, Cable modem/router, Gateway, etc. Just make sure the input/Internet jack is an RJ-11 jack and you'll be fine.)

Nope, that's for phones and DSL. If you've somehow got Ethernet coming out that plug you should fire your contractor.

That's not a network cable. It's an RJ-11 cable for a standard telephone. It won't work as a network cable.

Assuming the the pairs of cables in there are twisted properly (self-shielding like CAT5 cabling), that can be used with a DSL broadband connection like AT&T Uverse uses for their low-end residential connections.
Search "DSL modem", like
