Where would I find empty pill bottles... Can I buy them from hospitals or is that a bad idea? How else would one get a hold of them. ?

I'd rather recycle the used ones than buyingg new jars. Not to mention the price difference

Nobody in his right mind would sell you used pill bottles for fear of lawsuits. You will have to buy them new.

Contact your local pharmacy and see if they have any to sell, or if they can order them for you.
