why has my ability to read or send comments on news stories been suspended. What reply did Yahoo find offensive that I posted

Well one reason could be that to many comments where getting vicious rather then constructive opinion. But me thinks this is playing right into the hands of the Trump'ers and purposely affecting the right of "freedom of Expression".
As they say, Yahoo news if you can't take the heat then get out of the fire. In other words get out of your attempt to report the news all together rather then string us along as readers. Allowing opinions to be documented and read by your clients was a main feature of the service you where trying to engage us in, offset by advertising dollars.Set up some criteria if you want to get rid of the "viciousness" not just discontinue the service till after the USA election. Com'on Man!

Yes YAHOO, we know your trying to throw the election the liberal way, which will backfire, remember freedom of speech, which you don't want. Your fanning the fire.

anyone who disagrees with the libral party line no matter if its factually wrong will suffer deletion in line with the new leftist rullers of Verizon, Alphabet, google, and now yahoo has been assimilated into the leftist cabal contributing to the loss of free expression of ideas and the first amendment rights of all Real Americans.
hopefully these trends will be reversed by the loss of busines and money which is the only thing that these unAmerican globalist companies represent

It's gone. I would guess it's because too many people kept correcting their pathetic attempts at 'journalism' by adding links to complete and accurate versions of stories.

Commenting on answers has been removed because people have been abusing the comment section. For how long we don't know. It could be temporary, or it could be permanent.

Verizon Media disabled all commenting on Yahoo over 2 weeks ago. For everyone.
