Um what kind of car? Drivers mirror on a new style VW Bug (pain in the a$$), Ford ranger pickup piece of cake.

Yeah...The parts house sells the glue. Just eyeball it. Hold in place for a minute & voila!

You do it if you want the car to remain roadworthy because when they stop you to do a routine safety check; the missing mirror will be points or dollars against you. The car came with it out of the factory so it is mandatory.

You can buy a kit with the special glue.

Go to the wreckers.it will be alot cheaper.
