Means of production include land, water, minerals, machines, tools, roads, computers, factories. Marx though the means of production were an essential part of the labour process.

Means of production would include all the resources, machinery and tools used to make stuff. Modern day means of production tend to be a lot more computers and robots.
Marx believed that the means of production should belong to the people in general and not to the person who owned the factory.
