Is it okay for twin brothers to sleep in the same bed?

She finally moved out and just purchased a two bedroom apartment. The room that my twin nephews (both 10) sleep in is too small for two separate beds so she’s thinking of just getting one big bed for them to sleep in.

Now most of my family is split on the subject. On one hand, they’re both twins and they shared the womb so they should be fine. On the other hand, it’s okay when you’re young but when they reach their teen years they definitely won’t want to sleep in the same bed together.

In years gone by, families sometimes shared the same bed due to lack of space, but 10 year old boys probably need their own space.

Has she thought of bunk beds?  That will only take up the floor space of one single bed, leaving more room.

Why does the family have anything to say about this. Its the parents that have a say. Family create too many problems.....stay out of it and keep you opinions to yourself.

Bunk beds is definitely the solution. Once they have decided who sleeps up top! If there is a dispute arrange a rota.

Bunk beds !!  This will also mean more floor space.
