Lg g6 wifi problems?

I got a refurbished lg g6 off of eBay a few days ago it works fine except for the fact that it can't connect to any wifi network. I can't find any network and under the network tab in settings it says "connection not allowed" in the wifi status. Is there any fix to this or do I have to return the phone for a replacement?

I already tried factory resetting. It didn't work

Androids can boot into safe mode.  See if it turns on in this mode.

if it has a replaceable wifi radio, you can.

Make sure Airplane mode is Off.

Enable wifi (turn it on).

Find out how to do a factory reset on your phone and do it.

Ok...

- Does the phone have Wi-Fi capability?  

- Contact the seller and ask why the Wi-Fi isn't working.

I just Google'd your problem and someone mentioned it may have a faulty Wi-Fi chip.  You may want to unwind your Ebay purchase and find a different phone.
