Why can't I connect to my Wifi extender? ?

Ok so for the last hour or so I've been trying to get my PS4 to connect with my Wifi extender. But literally anything I do it tells me "a DNS server cannot be found." Here's the thing, I would set up a DNS server for it to connect to Manually yet it still wouldn't work. The photo below is what I keep getting. It's annoying as hell. I've tried contacting one of my tech friends and he helped me as far as he could before he had to go and do something else. If anyone could help in any way that would greatly appreciated.

what are you setting on your PS4 as a DNS?

have you tried using your router's IP?

have you tried using 8.8.8.8?

need more info.

can other devices connect to the extender (like your phone) and get internet?

Did you pair extender with router?.Look in  extender manual how to do it.Without pairing it will not work.
