Should anybody accused of a hate crime be forced to have a special license plate showing the world who they are?

No, because accused is not convicted. Just as importantly, it would subject people to public scorn, which is considered to be cruel and unusual punishment by law.

    "Accused" is not "guilty."  No.

Sure, lets throw out 200 years of legal precedent and the "innocent until proven guilty" and "right to trial by a jury" and just punish anyone as soon as they're accused.

I accuse you of being a racist and sex offender. Off to jail you go, no need for a trial.
