Does your country has conscription (mandatory military service)?

Mine fortunately does not LOL [Japan].

Canada does not.  We did for a time in both WWI, and WWII - mostly near the end of both wars, and draftees were NEVER sent overseas to fight.  All who did that were volunteers, even if they had originally been drafted.  Conscription is a hugely divisive political issue in Canada, and any government would only do it as a last resort.  Fortunately, Canada is a pretty peaceful country (until we need to fight!), so, conscription is not needed.

The Netherlands officially still has serve-duty for males, but hasn't levied anyone for decades
