In the state of Oregon, does my employer have to provide me with a pay stub? A lot of times, she's paying w/ a personal check. ?

    Make copies or take photos of every check you get in case you need some sort of proof later.  She might be saving herself money by not registering you as an employee, which could be a problem later.

    Yes, she needs to provide a pay stub at some point. A larger concern in this regard is that she is deducting and paying withholding tax so you don't get stuck with one giant bill. Are you certain that your boss has classified you as an "employee" and not a "contractor". There are no deductions for a contractor that would make you liable to pay all tax with no contribution from employer.

    Yes, in every state your employer must provide stub upon request.
