Are hurricanes huge tornadoes which occupy huge land masses or are they winds and clouds spinning like a Black hole!?

    If our only choices are limited to hurricanes 1) being "... huge tornadoes which occupy huge land masses" or 2) "... are winds and clouds spinning like a Black [sic] hole" ... then our education system has failed us all.

    Neither one. Hurricanes and typhoons start out as low pressure weather systems fueled by high WATER temperatures and ocean currents.  

    Water spouts are tornadoes of water.
