Trump's been against mail-in voting, but now he's all for it in Florida.  What is he up to?

Listen to what Trump says about each state and you may notice that he's only questioning mail-in voting in the states in which he is A) trailing in the polls behind Joe Biden and B) in the states led by Democrat governors and/or state assemblies.   He's creating an element of doubt in the integrity of the election in case he loses --- that way, he can claim that the election was rigged.  After all, Trump has already said that the 2020 election, which has yet to occur, will be the most rigged election in history.

He has been told that the Florida Republican Party relies on the mail-in votes of senior citizens to win and that his rhetoric is hurting their efforts to encourage mail-in voting.

So mail-in voting in Florida is good.  Mail-in voting in Arizona is bad.

The key thing to note is that every state has a variation of mail-in voting and have had for decades.  And every Secretary of State will swear on a stack of bibles that their current rules and procedures are enough to ensure that all valid votes will be counted and that no fraudulent votes will be counted in their state and it's the other states that can't be trusted to do it right.
