Yes.  This is something telling about Trump.  According to him he hasn't talked with Putin about this at all, in any capacity.  He says that's because the information on this wasn't 100%.  Okay.  But even if it wasn't 100% wouldn't you at least ask him if this is true?  Wouldn't you at least warn him "this better not be true!"?  The fact that Trump doesn't bring this up at all shows how subservient he is to Putin.
