Why does grilled breaded chicken taste better and more flavoursome the next day....?

What i do now is prepare it in the oven and refridgerate them. Then reheat them the next day when I want to eat it.

Potato salad and macaroni salad also taste better after being in the fridge overnight.

Many dishes, particularly ones with multiple ingredients, taste better the next day-after all the spices have had the opportunity to 'sink in' and better flavor the dish.

There are very few things (baked goods) that don’t taste better the next day.
