Should I pay for the £80 per year Amazon Prime inclusive or should I see what it's like first through monthly?

Prime is useful if you order a lot of things from Amazon because then there is no minimum order. Besides that there is free streaming music and videos, although the they aren't the latest movies and songs. But it's good enough for me so I don't have Netflix, Pandora or other pay services.
