I work in a retirement community’s in a kitchen as a breakfast server and my supervisor asked?

 two of the cooks a question and my one male coworker said ask the servers their mildly intelligent and I was wondering what he mean’t by that?

    It means that they aren't too bright but not totally stupid.  The AVERAGE IQ is 100.  I think he's saying that he thinks their IQs are less than average but not so low that they'd be thought of as mentally slow.

    "they're mildly intelligent".....

    It likely means that the question was likely something the cook shouldn't be needing to answer as the servers should know and be taking those type of questions.  The 'mildly intelligent' is just being sarcastic.
