Do you think paranormal/spiritual beliefs could ever do harm to the environment or even corrupt others into becoming miscreants or hooligans?
Could any of these beliefs be (considered hogwash) capable of brainwashing anyone just to harm so many innocent people, ruin others lives (such as driving others into paranoia) and even affect the ecosystems/wildlife (like for example: animal sacrifice)?
Lets say if science has already debunk the existence of ghosts, spirits and the afterlife.
Do you think beliefs like that could ever ravage the ecosystem and wildlife?
Assuming that these beliefs are purely rubbish/hogwash.
If that were the case, would women and children be more vulnerable to the consequences?
Couldn't this be a problem if it were the case?
Like decimating the ecosystems and rupturing nature's balance as a result of this?!

They want to enslave you. It is known as the slavery of the Egyptians. They take you into the captivity of death. That is why it took Jesus Christ to suffer on the cross (in a supernatural way) for us to be freed. These people are not the same as the people that hung up people publicly and tortured them in plain sight. We have all received the anointing of Jesus Christ that prevents us from slipping into such a degradation. Look at history in just the recent past and see how far we have come. There is still the slavery of the Communist, however there is a strong resistance, so that we are not all consumed. Now it all started out as supernatural as recorded by the hieroglyphs. There were part human part animal mutations and it was common knowledge, that that was the leadership. And this is recorded world wide. It didn't stop being a standard of belief until World War II. And the standard has been removed from architecture and is only apparent in sports, which is presently being challenged for elimination (due to the corona virus). It will be interesting to see how the future takes us. Each generation supersedes the past.

Some paranormal beliefs are very dangerous. Look at those cult members who all killed themselves. Devil worshipers who kill animals and even people as sacrifices. Some people die because they refuse medical treatment from a doctor and just pray instead. Some people's lives are ruined because they think aliens are following them around and abducting them. People lose their life savings because they abandon their house, thinking it is haunted.
Please, always use reason and logic. Ask questions. Learn the scientific method. Accept the help of doctors and psychologists.

You mean like a religion invading other countries and either killing or converting everyone to their way of thinking?
Nope I can't see that happening.

Paranormal and spiritual (as with anything else) can unfortunately find it’s way into the hands of corruption/evil in this world, and be used in that way by some, but, for most of us, that is not the case. The spiritual is part of us, and that isn’t going to go away.

Questions about the answerer are not allowed.
Yes, some new-age-freaks believe there is nothing wrong with consuming as much as you can, or that we have to increase the world-population by several dozen billion. We (mainly those of us living in the rich countries) already consume more than the planet can grow back.

Some ideas are harmless and some are harmful. If someone thinks that a piece of jewelry in the form of an astrological sign will bring good luck, that idea is not likely to do any harm and may even do good by giving the person confidence. However, basing important decisions on horoscopes is a good way to go broke. Simply thinking that ghosts exist is harmless, but thinking that any strange noise in the night is a deadly poltergeist is a good way to have a nervous breakdown.
Tyranny is a rubbish idea. Demanding that other people think the way you do is a rubbish idea.
A tyranny that denies scientists the right to counter-intuitive inquiry would have kept the Theory of Relativity from being published and Carl Sagan's suggestion that the moons of Mars are artificial satellites created by the Martians.
History clearly shows that a tyranny that denies people the right to hold eccentric "Wicca" beliefs can be extremely harmful. I have no desire to see innocent people burned at the stake or worked to death in gulag prison camps.
Paranoia, whether it be paranoia about witchcraft or paranoia about people who believe in ghosts, is rubbish thinking.

Spiritual beliefs do no harm. The harm is done by cowboys who take a lend of someone's beliefs and use them to make money. There are cowboys all over and in every trade. Just because a cowboy roofer takes your money and leaves you with a leaking roof, that does not mean you should not use a roofer again
EDIT! It was not a ghost or a Yeti who lit the fire at witch burnings, it was people, not paranormal. Miracle cures are no more paranormal than today's "lose 20 stone in five minutes" pills. You can't blame man's stupidity on paranormal.

Every power can be used to harm others. That is why only mentally stable persons should get into this knowledge.

I know for a fact paranormal/spiritual beliefs do harm, to individual people, groups, and yes, the environment. I could list some examples like the witch burnings and harmful "miracle cures" but there is too much harmful mystical thinking to list. Put (what's the harm) into your search engine and see for yourself.
