If you get infected with COVID-19 and recover, can you get infected again?

    Nobody knows yet, any immunity may be short lived or long lived, It also depends on whether the virus can mutate (like the flu virus) so that any previous immunity built up is less or non effective

    You get some immunity but the jury is still out on how long, how effective, and all that jazz.  Researchers are concentrating on the vaccine, as they should.

    Yes but it’s kind of rare to be infected twice. 

    It’s too early to tell if it’s a fluke or like other corona viruses (including the flu and cold), it only provides temporary protection. The flu vaccine only provides a few months of protection which is enough since flu season lasts about 6 months. 

    There are some people who got infected but when their blood were collected to look for antibodies, they have very antibodies which suggests that they can be reinfected. 

    If you watch professional wrestling, Kayla Braxton caught it twice. Here in Boston, 6 workers from the Holyoke soldiers’ home tested positive for a second time.
