Yahoo, can you do something about trying to answer questions from Anonymous people who have blocked you?
In the politics section, many people ask questions anonymously. Some have blocked me.
But when they leave questions anonymously, it lets me waste my time answering, only to say something went wrong when I hit the Submit button.
Could you fix that so if someone has blocked me, it doesn't let me waste my time and effort answering a question where the answer will never be posted?

No there is not a way to do anything about it.

Since no one from Yahoo peruses the questions here, your request is falling on no-ears (not helpful ones anyway). What you CAN do is go to the feedback forum here https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/924010, find the suggestion about that very topic (because it's been an issue for years) and add your vote to it. Yahoo has been made aware of the issue regarding Anon questions and blocked users not finding out until they've composed a response, that they can't post it, and supposedly had resolved the issue in the past, but it didn't last long at all.

you need the suggestion-board for stuff like this. You may want to vote here:
- What do you think of the answers? You can sign in to give your opinion on the answer.
Yahoo Staff does not Read whats being Posted on the Category Boards if you want them to see your Suggestion you have to Leave it on there Suggestions Boards
Here is the Link to It
According to the Yahoo Feedback forum, the answer button is supposed to be grayed out and NOT interactive if you have been blocked. Yahoo thinks they have solved this problem. In real life this has NOT happened.

One thing I do when unsure if the asker has blocked me or not, is to post a first draft answer just consisting of 20ish random letters from just running a hand across the keyboard.
Then, if that does go through, I use the Edit function to then replace those letters with an actual answer.
That way, it takes only a few seconds to check if there is any point in writing an actual answer.
