Do you believe in the paranormal the bible says king saul brought back the prophet Samuel from the dead?

I prayer last night about the nephilum God said the Holy spirit will tell you what to say. John dee, crowley, and physics everywhere talk to the spirit  world. God says not to do it though. If Samuel can be manifest from the dead so can angels as stated in Genesis

Not usually I don't.  No matter what the Bible says, I have a hard time believing that people can disturb the rest of the righteous dead.  I think it may have been an evil spirit that masqueraded as Samuel who answered the invocation.

That was the witch of Endor. She performed that feat with the aid of Satan.

The spirit that was bought forth in 1 Samuel 28 was not the spirit of Samuel but was

a "Familiar spirit", which was an evil spirit pretending to be Samuel the Prophet.

If you try talking to spirits, that is what you are going to get, an evil spirit.

    God is against it.

Don't you know Saul was hated for doing that? Saul ended up falling on his own sword in battle because God withdrew His annointing from him because he went to Endora instead of enquiring of God.

It's like you know the owner of Disney studios, and he gives you his personal phone number to call him, but then you choose to go to a busboy instead. It's insulting.

    Insulting God = not smart

The paranormal is based on the spirits of demons, they can be consulted by Psychics, Mediums, Mages, and Spiritualists!

That episode of King Saul, who had turned to a Psychic to find out about the Prophet Samuel, was an exception granted by God to Samuel so that his soul would descend to earth to prophesy against King Saul. In fact, he was killed during the war, as Samuel had told him.

You can't communicate with the souls of the dead, that's a law of God! When they turn to the Psychics, they are in contact with the spirits of demons; it is they who can predict the future of people, and it will really happen. God forbids his faithful believers to consult demons, therefore, we consult God for every need we need.

    What is wrong with you?

The Exorcist is just a movie. It's not a documentary. Exorcisms are about as barbaric and backwards going as you can get. Mostly they're done on people who are mentally ill or suffering in some way from ailments that an actual doctor could help with. It's said the character of Regan from the Exorcist was based on a child with Tourette's Syndrome. This produces tremors, shaking, and yes, foul language or language tics. All due from the nervous system being messed up, not from demons.

No, you can't raise the dead. You can put someone on a machine, keep them alive. You can't bring back someone who has been declared dead. That's no brain activity, no heart, no lungs, no alimentary. When rigor mortis starts to set in. No magic spells or blood sacrifices in the name of a god will restore someone who is dead.

Dead is dead, they don't get up after they are dead.

    Religious people are so afraid of death, they have found a way to pretend they won't die, and they won't even look at the reality.;

Such nonsense from adults is inexcusable this day and age.  It isn't the 3rd century now.

No of course not.  The bible is full of inaccurate history and events that never happened.  We can view the bible as a book of fairy tales.

  • Yes of course I believe in the paranormal.  There are HUNDREDS of cases of the dead rising confirmed by physicians and reported by reputable media outlets every day.......right?
