Do all high speed passenger trains have there own private track? If not wouldn't a h.s.t on regular track be risking alot going really fast?

Update:

Most regular tracks are not made for really high speeds, say any passenger train that regularly travels at 125mph or higher for most of it's trip.

They have a signalling system to warn them to slow down if they are approaching a regular speed train.

of course they have their own track ..they have to have it secure to stop vandals ..125 mph is slow today ..most i have been on are travelling at 180mph+  ..you only get the impression of speed like driving in france on their autoroutes ..the train track is alongside road ..your driving at 90 ..they go past like your standing still!...but it does not feel like that when your on the train itself
