What’s worse for running injury?

Running on treadmill or running on asphalt?

    A quality treadmill is designed to take pounding of being run on. It absorbs energy from foot landings. In general, this makes the treadmill safer.

    But, if you have a running injury, or an injury that interferes with running, it might be best to rest until the injury heals. Whatever the surface, running may make the injury worse.

    Also, if it is a running injury, you should find the cause. If you don't treat the cause, the injury is likely to recur.

    Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about how to cure foot pain try Imforda Cure Foot Guide (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.

    Treadmill running is easier and less 'impactful' to the body than running outdoors (street or sidewalk). That being said, it doesn't mean someone with an injury should be running at all (it depends on the injury). Just because treadmill running is less harsh from an impact standpoint, doesn't mean it's "safe" for someone who has an injury. Take care of you.

    A treadmill is designed to run on.  You assume a certain amount of ergodynamics built in.

    Asphalt is built for cars to drive on.  That's going to be harder on the human body.

    Asphalt is way worse.  Treadmill has more give especially if you incline it a notch.
