How are things in NW England?

Question

I went to Liverpool and Manchester in 1981 to visit some 3rd and 4th cousins. I had a pretty good time. Lost touch with most, but would like to return, maybe stay longer than a week this time. I flew from the USA and took 2 trains to get to Manchester.

Flew to London, only spent 2 days there.

You obviously won't be able to travel to visit any time soon.
