concerns about central lines ?

My mother speaks often that she has a central line in her body all the way down to her toes on one side. Sometimes when she speaks I have a hard time understanding what she says though. She is often in pain and says it makes so she can not eat much. But is a very active person.

Is the such a thing as a central line going all the way down to her toes from her heart area?

Are there complications in removal? How can she be lifted of the pains she's always c/o ?

I know this is Yahoo, but I figured I would ask on here regardless.

No, central lines Go to the heart, there is no way one would start in the toe, and no way they are left in place for a person at home like that. Something else is going on here.
