Identity politics driven by cultural Marxist philosophy are all the rage right now, at least with many on the left.

No, it's an imaginary bugaboo that neo-Nazis and alt-righters made up.

No. It’s just something that’s a turn-on for members of the far right and conspiracy theorists. But please do ask the question another fifty times. I’m starting to think you and Tessera could be one and the same. It’s not as though you’re going to read the answers or believe anything other than what you already believe.

"Is cultural marxism a big issue these days...?"
Yes. Frankfurts school critical theory (cultural Marxism) is used by every revolutionary group on the Left today, including feminism, to push their radical social engineering towards social change away from all the values of the Enlightenment that have led us to where we are today .... the freest times in human history for common people in the nations of Western civilization.
The prominent persons from these groups that promote this cultural Marxism begin with the ridiculous claim that we are in "oppressive" times for certain groups (women, minority races, LGBT, Muslims, to name a few) at the hand of a select sex (men), race (Whites), gender identity ("cis" or heteronormative), religion (Christians), and for this reason which to destroy the current society in order to usher one in that will be more "fair" for their "oppressed" groups, as they see fit.
There is no discussion about what this new society will look like, and to question it will lead to charges of "sexist", "racist", "homophobe", "Islamophobe", "fascist", "Xenophobe", "Nazi" and so on. The manner in which these people operate openly smacks of totalitarianism. They are also against free speech. Clearly, their ideas are not meant to see the light of day. Only to be implemented like a Bolshevik revolution is. Once installed, it's too late to go back.
