Instead of Windows having users accounts, or Mac why don't they just give you the option to 'lock' the folder or file?

Back in the Windows 95/Windows 98 and Classic Mac days when users accounts weren't heard of and weren't the norm, there was really good aftermarket software to 'lock' your files and folders.

I found it to be very neat.

    I totally agree with what you're saying you can cause any file to become a hidden file. If you can't see the file you can't play around with it there has to be some kind of software that allows you to lock all your files by making them hidden.
