Royal Duties of an Emporer or Empress or Princes?

I have done intense research on what royal families and skills they need. What do royal princes/Emporer/Empress need in order to be a successful future ruler.

An heir to the throne needs to learn their realm's constitutional laws. Modern monarchs also attend universities, get an education, learn how to think effectively...

Each realm has royal prerogatives that the monarch has powers to perform--these are generally part of the constitution a monarch learns and abides... Queen Elizabeth II, as heir, received private tuition in constitutional history from Henry Marten, Vice-Provost of Eton College, and she keeps abreast of any changes made to the constitution so that she can properly work with the elected government.

To be able to wear crowns, tiaras, and royal garments that resemble medieval attire.

To be able to wave, unveil plaques, cut ribbons.

To be able to be have photo opps with hospital patients and other charitable causes.

That’s about all being a royal these days requires.

If you have done "intense research" why are you asking us?

Depends if they are an absolute or constitutional monarch since that would define their role. Are they literally ruling the country as the government or being the head of state while the elected parliament makes the laws and administers the country? For the most part they need no skills at all, beyond an ability to wave enthusiastically, since they occupy the position as a result of being the eldest child of the previous monarch and no other reason.
