Unemployment question?

I started work again, but I'm not working nowhere near as many hours because of covid. I will I lose my unemployment?

  • I'm not sure what the unemployment insurance laws are in your area. 

    In my area they've passed a law basically saying that you can't double dip, specially if you have a full time job. You can go to jail for fraud if you're caught. You could receive less money since you're working, or because you're working your benefits could stop. You would have to contact your unemployment center and ask them.

    Maybe.  The rules vary from state to state.  It is probably based on how much you are making, but it could be based on how many days of the week you work or how many hours.

    If you're only making about half or less than usual, you might still be eligible for partial unemployment.
