Why Argentina was the  best destination for Europeans to migrate ?

In the 18th and 19th century. Especially after WW2.

Because of its name. Argentina begins with an "A". One of the first entries in the "Countries To Migrate To" book they all bought prior to moving. As you can probably imagine, Zaire and Zimbabwe weren't very popular destinations at all.

It wasn't. More Europeans migrated to the United States than to Argentina in the 18th and 19th century, including after World War II. By bringing up World War II, I imagine you're referring to the fact that Argentina was an emigration hot-spot for fleeing Nazis after World War II, the "why" for that being the fact that Argentina refused to extradite Nazis to the Hague to stand trial for war crimes, thus making itself a Nazi sanctuary, its remoteness from Europe and Nazi hunters yet nonetheless having a Europeanized culture owing to the Spanish Conquest making it especially ideal.

Because South America was closer and easier to get to from Europe.

As far as I know, Argentina and Brazil have a strong German and Italian background.

. A lot of Germans in the Patagonia
