    Point of contact: (4, -3)

    Slope: 8/5

    Equation: 8x -5y = 47

    Slope intercept form is

    y = mx + b

    Plug in the givens to find "b"

    -3 = (8/5)(4) + b

    -3 = 32/5 + b

    -15/5 = 32/5 + b

    subtract 32/5 from both sides

    -47/5 = b

    Slope intercept form becomes

    y = (8/5)x  - 47/5

    multiply both sides by 5

    5y = 8x - 47

    Subtract 5y from both sides

    0 = 8x - 5y - 47

    Add 47 to both sides

    47 = 8x - 5y

    Flip

    8x - 5y = 47 <–––––

    (y + 3)/(x - 4) = 8/5

    ==> 5(y+3) = 8(x-4)

    ==> 5y + 15 = 8x - 32

    ==> -8x + 5y = -47
