Is Virginia geographically in the south?

I just wanted to get a majority opinion. Some people say it is, bit others say it is too far up. What do y'all think?

The Mason-Dixon Line is the surveyors' threshold for north/south and Virginia falls to the south of that line. Ergo it is a southern state. Then there's that whole participating in the Confederacy thing.

Yes, Virginia.  You are in the "south".  Also, you're mentally in the "south", as well.  By the way, it's essentially all Northern Alabama all the way up to Central Pennsylvania.
