What is your favorite movie-musical and why?

Mine is 1971's Fiddler on the Roof. It's one of the best films of all time in my opinion. The music, lyrics, the choreography, the jokes, the perfect casting and the way it made me cry at several points in the film. I think it is just a masterpiece. Topol was BORN to play Tevye.

Victor Victoria - the movie was awesome, you can't beat the cast, and to this day I still sing all the songs!  :)

When I was a kid and only had a black & white TV, "Singing in the Rain" had a big impact. As a teen, the first time I saw it in color was at theater. Blew me away. Gene Kelly did stunning work in front and behind the camera.
