They do not produce enough heat to warrant a fan. Unless your charging a Samsung then watch out for exploding batteries.

Because they don't need fan. Fan only required in pc or laptop for reduce heating.

Fans cool devices by convection. Phones, tablets and some latptops use heatsinks - static metal objects with fins etc. to cool via conduction.

Some do like phones made for gaming (most the time an external clip-on fan) but for most phones it's unnecessary because they don't get hot enough to really need one and ambient air is generally enough to cool them

Most homes have air conditioners and some rooms may even have ceiling fans. A fan on a phone would be so small that it wouldn't even do much. It would just be a waste of money for the company.

I think you passing enough time with both , you can playing game on both.

A fan is a mechanical device (not "pure" electrical) and requires a housing.  Even a tiny fan motor is also a heat source.  But consider this:  If your phone is in your pocket, what kind of air flow will it have?

"Ultra thin" and "fan" just generally don't go together very well.

Smartphones and Tablets don't need fans because ARM architecture processors are widely used in mobiles phones.

It would make it bigger, heavier, and use up the battery faster.

Phones and tablets aren't as powerful as laptops so they don't get as hot, but they do have conductors to help dissipate the heat that develops.

Probably because it would make a lot of noise.
