Check if there are Grammar and Sentence mistakes?

The world-renowned Italian film composer/musician. He was only the maestro in the world I could ever think of. I just know tens of songs since he composed songs in 500 films/dramas.

    The world-renowned Italian film composer/musician, Enrico Morricone (?), was only the maestro in the world I could ever think of. I only know a few of the songs he composed for over 500 films/dramas.

    The first is not a sentence- it doesn't have a verb. "Ennio Morricone was a world-renowned Italian..."

    "tens of songs" is weird. "I know many of his songs since he composed...."
