Does jk Rowling make money from the purchase of Harry potter lego ?

She does. The main beneficiary is Warner Bros as most of the visual characterisation is theirs rather than Rowling's, but quite properly Rowling as author of the work makes money out of the sale or merchandise licensed through them.

Of course she does. It's inconceivable that she wouldn't.
What she does with the money is her own business but all those people who are so horrified that she thinks a woman is a woman should bear in mind that she's an extremely generous donor to charity.

She most likely makes money off Harry Potter everything.

Yep. Licensed products. Manufacturers pay for the rights to use the intellectual property. They are provided a licensing guide and requirements that they must follow. It helps ensure the integrity of the intellectual property. You won't see Harry Potter legos with a MacDonald's store kit anytime soon.
JK Rowling's management company probably handles licensing. Or she could have an organization or legal team or something that just does that.
EDIT: Hm, just realized that Warner Bro’s. probably has all the movie licensing rights (Rowling still gets a cut of everything) but I wonder if you can license the characters separately through the books??

Yes of course. It's called merchandising and it's very lucrative.

Lego would be guilty of breach of copyright if they sold such merchandise without JKR's permission - and such permission presumably came at a price.
