How to add a percentage increase to single cells in Excel?

I have an excel table with number values in each cell. When I type in another number i want that cell to automatically add 46% to the number i typed in. How could i do this?

    You can't get it to change the number you've typed in. Just create another column that multiplies the original column by 1.46

    You may be able to do it with a Macro.

    I have used Excel for 25 years but I have never used Macros.

    I can build Macros in Access but not Excel.

    You're making this way to phucking difficult. Multiply the number by 1.46 e.g. "45*1.46"
