A rocket accelerates from rest to an upward velocity of 4075 m/s

over a displacement of 375 km.

a) What is the acceleration of the rocket?

b) How long did it take the rocket to travel 375 km?

    You are assuming that the acceleration was constant starting from zero.   v^2 = 2as -> a = v^2 / 2s = 4075^2/(2 *375000)  = 22m/s^2

    2).  Average speed = final speed/2    Time = distance / average speed = 375000/(4075/2)  = 184 s
