Why don't American radio stations play foreign language music?

    They do if you live in a place with enough speakers to support it. Like Mexican Language stations in California.

    Other than Rammstein, I can't think of anyone currently popular enough to have a non English song played on a regular English language radio station

    Americans generally are self-centered.  Many claim that the Covid virus is a US political plot. The rest of the world is insignificant. 😩

    There are plenty that do, in places where there's an immigrant population enough to financially support such a station.

    Don't you watch any movies? Every taxi driver is playing foreign language music, and not just in NYC or LA. Last cabs I took were to and from the train station in Buffalo, and the driver one direction had a Spanish-language station, the other direction a Middle Eastern one, I'm not sure the language. Both drivers spoke accented but passable English, for the record.

    They play Rap and that's foreign enough.
