Can you get pregnant if you have unprotected sex on the last day of your period?

If you have a regular 28 day cycle how likely is it to become pregnant if you have sex on the last day of your period?

Update:

If you have sex (protected or unprotected)  on the last day of your period, it's highly unlikely that you'll get pregnant. When you're menstruating, your uterus is shedding its old, unused lining, and there's no mature egg in your body at that time  that can be fertilized.

You say you're on a regular 28-day menstrual cycle. That means that, every month, you'll usually ovulate and be fertile 14 days from the first day of your period. The  2 days immediately before and immediately after the 14th day is the ONLY time in that cycle during which you can get pregnant..

If you want to predict when you might get pregnant, then every month count forward 14 days from the first day of your period.

Depends on how long your period lasts. If it's only a few days then probably not but there is always a chance you might ovulate early so I wouldn't say it couldn't happen.

Sperm lives for up to five days.

On a 28 day cycle - ovulation is going to happen AROUND day 14.  (ovulation happens ABOUT 14 days BEFORE the next period)

Ovulation CAN be early or late during any cycle - THERE IS NO WAY TO PREDICT EARLY OVULATION - there is no way to know five days before ovulation that ovulation is going to happen in time for the sperm to survive and fertilize the egg.

You CAN NOT become pregnant "anytime".  You can only become pregnant during the time frame in which sperm can live long enough to fertilize the egg.  The egg only lives 12 to 24 hours.  The biggest problem is truly predicting this time frame since it can happen earlier or later in the cycle for any number of reasons.

So - the answer is - maybe - do you really want to risk it?
