Diverse and huge, but not the whole world and not the entire universe.

It is very competitive, but also aggressive and the infrastructure is mostly awful. Mainstream attitude: Big is beautiful, greed is good and too much focus on superficial things like wealth and beauty.

And in redneck areas: anything even slightly social or socialist is evil, although they do not even know what socialist is and know nothing about "liberal" either.

The American dream has become less and less real.....

Combine the worst parts of Canada, Britain and Germany; and then make it fatter with a lower IQ.

One could write a set of encyclopedias about that. I live there. It's all about what one chooses to see. We will live in a world as we perceive it. We are in charge of our attitude. Life is 10% what happens and 90% how we react to it.

I think one thing that people from smaller countries don't get is just how BIG America is. As in you can drive in a straight line for a whole day and be in the same state the whole time. It also has a big range of landscapes. There are mountains you can ski on in Colorado, Desert in New Mexico, flat grassland in Kansas, swampy bayous in Louisiana, and more mountains and beaches on the east coast. There are also big cities and tiny farm towns.

You can meet people with all different opinions in America, as well as people from all different parts in the world. It is a melting pot. Basically if you can imagine something, it probably exisits somewhere in America.

It's like a big over grown giant who was once king of the hill among nations, but in the last three years it has found it no longer is looked up to by the other nations.  A new king is emerging; it's bigger and potentially stronger than anything America once was.  And Americans are becoming desperate, looking for some one to make America great again and they've discovered what they have now isn't doing that.
